Jawai Tangaran
Within the Jawai Tangaran Coastal Ecosystem 634,63 hectare, there is a protected forest or conservation zone covering 335,12 hectares, based on the Forestry Ministerial Decree No. 733 of 2014, and a buffer zone designated for utilization covering 299.51 hectares. The Jawai Tangaran Coastal Mangrove and Mixed Forests Ecosystem is under the authority of the Sambas Forest Management Unit and the Indonesian Peatland and Mangrove Restoration Agency.


Bukit Nek Garok
Located in Marunsu is crucial as it serves as a water source for agriculture. Covering 309 hectares, this mountainous forest plays a vital role in the lives of the surrounding Dayak communities. Additionally, this customary forest serves as the last refuge for wildlife, struggling to survive amid the massive deforestation for palm oil plantations.
Menyapa Lesan Landscape
Menyapa Lesan Landscape 182,727 hectares. In this landscape there are 13,000 hectare Lesan protecting forest and 53,000 hectares Menyapa protected forest. This landscape home for 200 species of flora and 52 species of mammals. There are also 180 species of birds, as well as 30 species of reptiles and amphibians.Including 185 individual orangutans.


Karaitan Landscape Forest and Karst
42.347 hectare forest is home for approximately 20 mammal species including orangutans, 23 bird species, 7 rodent species and 9 primate species
